In todays world where nothing is sure anymore it might seem impossible to plan your orders. We are in a situation where we haven’t been before and most of us have found solutions on the go. Same goes for packages. This is why we decided to collect our knowledge and share some key points how to prepare for next orders.
During the last couple of months we have seen remarkable growth in e-commerce. And rightly so. The furthest we can go is from bedroom to the kitchen and back. You got to shop somewhere! And companies have started prioritising online sales, that includes ordering packages.
In the middle of all this madness there is a danger of not being prepared and running out of packages meant for online stores or event use the ones in stores such as paper bags etc.
We are in a slightly better place than during the spring quarantine. The stores are open and people who are still aware of the risks and must follow the health care procedures are longing for some kind of normality. This is why it is time to think about restocking the packages for your physical store locations as well. This of course does not mean that you should neglect online store packages, because most people are now using the e-commerce options even more.
Why prepare now?
We have the answers. Firstly starting from august most of the factories are already taking in Christmas orders. This means delays in production lines and deliveries which we recommend taking into account.
Secondly people tend to impulse buy more as the holidays are coming closer. This means increase in sale during the next few months.
Third factor is the people in charge of ordering the packages for your company. During recent months it is possible many people have been laid off or the opposite, one person has to cover two jobs. This means that the order might delay due to not ordering on time.
And here is our recommendation: Order your packages rather earlier than later.
This helps you avoid delays in delivery to your customers and be prepared for anything. Lastly, do not hesitate to order a bigger quantity. The advantage of packages is that they do not expire (except if you have a planned a new branding). Rather be safe than sorry!
Have a little faith in yoursalf and in your company.
